Return & exchange policy

Our doors, windows, glass and cladding are made for your site β€” size, colour, glass and hardware are chosen by you. This page explains, in plain words, how we work with you before production and how we support you if something goes wrong.

We manufacture only after your final approval

To avoid mistakes and misunderstandings later, we do not start factory work until the important details are frozen and confirmed with you:

  • Final sizes and design (drawings / shop drawings agreed by you).
  • Final colour, coating, powder shade or sample you have approved.
  • Glass type, profiles, hardware and other materials as listed in your signed quote.

This way, what we deliver is aligned with what you already said “yes” to. If everyone is clear upfront, disputes are rare. Please read drawings and quotations carefully before you approve.

1 Why a normal β€œreturn” is usually not possible

These products are not readymade shelf items. After your approval, metal, glass and accessories are ordered and cut for your order only. Because of that:

  • We cannot take back goods simply because plans changed, mind changed, site got delayed, or budget changed after work started.
  • A new colour or new design after approval is usually a fresh order, not a return.

If Indian consumer law applies to your case, mandatory rights stay as per law.

2 When we will make it right

If something arrives and it is not as per what you clearly approved with us — for example:

  • Wrong colour versus the signed shade / sample recorded on your order.
  • Wrong design or detail versus the drawing you approved (openings, vents, sill, laminate build-up, etc.).
  • Clearly poor finishing compared to what we promised for that product range.

Then please contact us soon with photos and your WoodenMax reference number. We will review fairly and, where it is genuinely our side, discuss repair, replacement of the affected part, or rework as appropriate on site.

πŸ’‘ Colour note: Glass, powder coat and some finishes can have slight tone difference from batch to batch (normal in the industry). This is different from a wrong shade altogether. Sampling and written colour codes reduce surprises.

3 Delivery damage β€” transit insurance

Glass and long profiles can get damaged in transport if not handled carefully. Who pays depends on how delivery is agreed (your quotation / invoice).

  • If you took transit insurance with us — or our contract clearly says WoodenMax carries transit risk — we will support you with the claim process when damage clearly happened in carriage. Please inform us quickly and keep delivery proof, photos (ideally before fully opening crates).
  • If materials were not insured, or responsibility for transport was yours / another contractor as agreed, then damage or loss during transport cannot be refunded or exchanged by WoodenMax as a “return”. We can still help you with replacement supply and timeline on a commercial basis.
πŸ“¦ Tip: Check cartons when the vehicle is still there. Take photos of any broken outer packing. Tell us within about 24–48 hours. Keep packing for inspection if a claim is possible.

4 Problems seen only after installation

If a fault shows later (for example a seal issue) and it is clearly from our manufacturing — not from building movement, wrong cleaning chemicals, site impact, or wrong use — we will look at it under the warranty terms given with your order. Send clear photos and your purchase reference early.

5 Cancellation before production

If production and long-lead material orders have not started, we may allow full or partial cancellation as per the schedule mentioned in your written quote. Any advance payment for items already ordered for you may be adjusted as per our written terms.
